Volcano tour

The hike up the sacred Mount Batur volcano starts in the early hours of the morning. You will be picked up from your hotel in south Bali at 1:30 am. At around 4 am, with a mountain guide and by torchlight, you conquer the active volcano in the large Batur caldera so that you can enjoy a unique sunrise. The effort of the two-hour climb to the 1,717 m summit is rewarded with a breathtaking view over Bali's mountains and, when visibility is good, even of Lombok's volcano. After a short breakfast with coffee or tea, we go down to the crater rim.

Please bring: sturdy hiking boots, possibly a change of clothes, a warmer layer, sun protection and your camera.
